The Chief Export of Chuck Norris is Pain

Apparently I've been missing out on a lot of Chuck Norris goodness floating around the web. Since you're my favorite blog readers on the whole of this planet, I figured I'd round up a few goodies for you.

Snuffleupagus, Is That You?

Fla. attorney general says his e-mails aren't spam

From the article:

This is not spam. This is truthful, it's straight forward. We're honest. To be spam it has to be, under Florida law, defined as being deceptive.

Let's be realistic here. You're a politician. You're probably not lying, but you certainly aren't being straight-forward either.

That's not really the interesting part of the story, though. Check out that picture! It looks like he's about to be eaten by a pair of Pete's boots.

Morning Research

I've been getting an error from Windows XP when I try to rotate a JPEG file, either from Explorer (right click, "Rotate [Counter] Clockwise"), or through Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

Because of the dimensions of this picture, rotating it might permanently reduce its quality.

This has been bothering me for a while, so I actually did a little research into the matter. It turns out that if your image's dimensions are not a multiple of 16, XP has to recompress the image after rotating it, which is where the reduction in quality comes in. Thanks Bill, you're the best.

So, what to do about it? I found a page that has more information, including a link to a program that will do lossless JPEG rotation [Exifer for Windows]. Pretty handy, if you aren't exactly a Photoshop master.

I tried Exifer out and it seems to work quite well. The English translation isn't perfect, but it gets the job done, and the rotation appears to work as advertised. It's also free, which is nice.

Nipple brush

I'm sure this nipple brush isn't quite as fun as the "female pleasure enhancers" that ASDA is selling. Looks rather painful, actually. [via Metafilter]

An Appetizer from the Local Supermarket

Floor Sludge

I'd say the "Wet" part of this floor is the least of their worries. It smells as bad as it looks.

GROW Weirder

An unforseen consequence of taking months off is that everything you posted before has been updated [GROW CUBE].

New Toy!

I picked up a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9 for myself, since it's Christmas and all. It's been too dark and snowy to get much use out of it, but I have a few shots for you.
